Vera HoffmanVera Hoffman is an experienced video director who has produced numerous personal documentaries. With a Ph.D. in psychology and a background in human relations and social networks, she brings a multilayered perspective to the documentary. When interviewing she is able to establish quick rapport and captures an individual's essence in an empathic and respectful manner. In addition Vera Hoffman has also produced promotional documentaries for organizations and cable TV. Most recently she produced Sea Change for a community rehabilitation program and Small Treasures about beach pollution. Through the Pinhole and Debra and the Dynamites showcase the work and music of artists. Her current work includes, Into The Wind a documentary depicting the lives and endeavors of disabled sailors competing to qualify for the US team in the 2008 Paralympics games in China.
Barbara LovenheimBarbara Lovenheim is an experienced journalist who has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tribune, New York and other national publications. She has interviewed, among others, Hillary Clinton, Katharine Hepburn, Gregory Peck and Robert Redford as well as dozens of people who are not public personalities. Her recent book, Survival in the Shadows: Seven Jews Hidden in Hitler's Berlin, chronicles the saga of two families who hid in Nazi Germany during World War II.
